Postgraduate supervision
If you are looking for an experienced supervisor of postgraduate students at Honours, Masters or PhD level, I would love to hear from you.
I have supervised many students in the field of health science, psychology and education to successful completion.
I also have assisted a number of my students in disseminating their work through appropriate channels including white papers, peer-reviewed research articles, conference presentations, wananga and more.
Moderation
I am an experienced external moderator with good knowledge of the NZQA framework and a keen eye for detail.
I have assisted many teaching teams in successful NZQA monitor visits over the years and have acted as external assessment moderator for a wide variety of Level 5 to Level 9 courses.
Curriculum design
I have contributed to and led curriculum design and re-design of both NZQA approved and university courses leading to qualifications in psychology and health sciences.
I love working with academics and industry experts and can navigate many Learning Management Systems.
Workshop design & facilitation
As part of my academic and consulting roles, I have experience designing and leading teaching sessions for a wide variety of subjects, including how to conduct a literature review, the meaning of research rigour, data analysis and data visualisation.
I particularly enjoy designing and leading interactive sessions that minimise the gap between learning and doing.
